“ Been a Lou’s customer in another state for a long time. So when we moved to Illinois I was hopeful but wasn’t sure what to expect at our new location. Been ordering (via delivery) from the Grand location over the past couple of months. The food is consistently delivered hot, fresh and with good quality products. We received the same quality as if we were dining in. I called after our first delivery to give them praise. The manager was very pleasant to speak with and you can tell he cared sincerely. Keep up the good work. It’s what keeps us coming back. Kudos to the delivery drivers. They are always pleasant and expedient. ”
“ Placed a take out order of 6 made to order frozen pizzas for pickup at 2145 to take on a 20h road trip I was leaving for that night. I made the mistake of thinking closing was at 2300 instead of 2200 and my ETA was 2230. I called the restaurant in a panic while I was speeding over. Manager still picked up the phone at 2201 for me to tell him my sob story. I told him I understood it’s closing so I was willing to chance if he would leave my order outside somewhere for me to hopefully find when I get there. He said it was too risky and it was for sure going to be stolen. He was was kind enough to wait for me to get there 30min after they closed so I could pick up my order and wouldn’t allow me to tip him for his patience and understanding. He was well within his right to tell me “too bad so sad.” We always order from here when we’re in town and always bring some back. Everything was perfect. Great service all around ”
